I won’t mention who it is – but it will be pretty evident for anyone who reads the book. Though there was so many opposing to this book, truth of what had happened those days will never fade. Bhyrappa, recently translated into English by Sandeep Balakrishna, therefore, is one of the few revolutionary novels that deals with an explosive storyline in times where political correctness dominates the public discourse.

Book Review | Aavarana: The Veil
While reading Avarana I had so many questions going inside my head. After marriage, her troubles with the husband due to religious incompatibility slowly begin to grow.
He is also rich enough to not write books for money. This book should be read in that context and not “Hindu-Muslim” relations or what happened during muslim rule.
Humans have long used select passages of scriptures to justify anything and everything from violence to oppression, ignoring those very same scriptures that advocate love and inclusion and non-violence.

I will not go deep into the storyline or the characters but all I want to say is this novel is worth reading if you can take avaraa harsh reality of our history with no sugarcoating.
This book came as a b’day gift from my wife and kids on Dec But Lakshmi is not orthodox – she just goes acarana to her roots – the AvaraNa for her is lifted. Aavarana means enveloping or covering something. But even after being that, last book of Anantha was sold for copies. It all comes to a head at a conference organized to revise the history curriculum for schools and colleges, when Razia questions the whitewashing of Muslim brutality down the ages.
Once Again Pls continue the book xvarana give a right, correct, true Justice for that book.
In someway i think the rivals are correct. The author Bhyrappa in his characteristic style makes the reader go with him on a journey, almost knowing exactly what the reader is thinking while reading the book. An example of such convolution is the period of Mughal rule in India which was most brutal, oppressive and wroth with religious intolerance, but the left historians have attempted to erase this fact and replace it by false history t The Indian history has been a victim of vandalism by Leftist historians right from the time of India’s Independence from the British.
He epitomizes the class of left leaning intellectuals that have sold their conscience to the establishment in return for the favors it bestows upon them.

Lakshmi, clouded by love and a heady socialist euphoria that prevailed in that age, does not pay much importance to her symbolic conversion to Islam.
