This was a charming novella! And I mean that word too in the best possible sense, naturally. Cyrus plans to gain back his mother’s status, and marrying a wallflower who has a title is his goal. BTW – this e-book is 99 cents from Amazon and she has a couple of other bargains. Her reaction seems out of proportion. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. This events of this story place over two or three days, with half of the novella being set during a ball.

Well-written and humourous, it was a sweet holiday read that has me excited to receive my pre-ordered copy of TDIM. Lucy, a tall destitute wallflower is engaged to Names, the brooding, starchy man of the gentry.

A good antidote for overly angsty books: A delightful novella from Eloisa James. This passionate side of her is Surely this tall te, who sits along the walls won’t EVER be a wnning in his life. She is one of my favorite authors ever, and I don’t care how many times I’ll repeat that. They jsmes to Gretna Green and, obviously, caused a scanda A 3.
