In the second essay Judah enters into a detailed discussion engllsh some of the theological questions hinted at in the preceding one. He insists that Jews are the only people that God loves; God gives Jews special attention and even unearned assistance. However, Judah ha-Levi is against limiting philosophical kuaari to matters concerning creation and God; he follows the Greek philosophers in examining the creation of the material world.
